Gameplay:

The game is fairly simple.  You only need TWO people to play the game, though the more people, the better.

THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

When you start a game, the DM will tell you about yourself, where you are, and what your current status is (see Stats page).  He will then ask you what you want to do. Example:
What do you want to do?  go N, S, E, or W,    look around,   search,   fight,    run,   cast, shapeshift,   etc....
The player will then say what he wants to do, and the DM does that (by looking at a map or whatnot).

Go:  The player will go in a given direction, if possible, and the DM will explain what is in the next section when he gets there.

Look around:  The DM will then further explain key points of the area.

Search:  The DM further explains something, or someone in the area.

Fight:  If an enemy attacks you, you can fight back. (see battle)

Run:  Try to run away from a fight by rolling an even number the die.

Cast:  Cast a spell. (see spells)  You must have the magic ring befor you can do this.

Shapeshift:  Transforms the player into something. (see shapeshift)

Battle:  If a situation occurs where the player has to fight, it is his responsiblity to do so, and the DM's responsibility to control the attacker/s.

****These are the steps used in battle. (print this out if you forget easily!! hehe)

1.  DM tells the player what is attacking him.
2.  Player says if he wants to
    a. attack
1a. Player flips a coin to see if he hits or misses (heads= hit, tails= misses)
2a. DM flips a coin for each attacking creature to see if it hits of misses (heads= hit, tails= misses)
3a. Player and DM total up damage dealt, and any items gained
4a. Go back to step 1
    b. use item
1b. Player selects an item to use
    c. cast spell
        1c. Player chooses a spell
        2c. Subtract MP needed
3c. Player rolls the die, if its 1-4 then it is cast, if it is 5 or 6 then its a miss
4c. Go back to step 1
    d. run
1d. Player roll the die, if it is 1 or 2 then he escapes without experience or items, 3-6 he stays.
    e. shapeshift
1e. Player shapeshifts into something, (has its own attacks) (see shapeshifts)
3. Upkeep
    1. Keep track of your losses, and gains (items, health, etc)
    2. MP is restored at end of fight

****Gaining

There are five things you can gain, Hit Points (HP), Attack Points (AP), Magic Points (MP), Experience Points (EXP), and Levels.

Hit Points:
Hit points are the points that an enemy needs to take away to kill you.  You start out with 10, but they will increase by 2 points for each level you gain (see levels).  If you have better armor, it can add to your Hit points while it is being worn.

Attack Points:
Attack points are the number of hit points you take off an enemy each time you make a sucessfull hit.
The attack points also increase by 2 points for each level you gain.  Different weapons will add more attack points to your total.

Magic Points:
Magic points are the amount of magic you can use.  They start out at 10, but wearing magic items or using magic weapons can add points to your MP total.

Experience Points:
Experience points (EXP), are the points you gain for each enemy you defeat.  You total these up, and for every 1000 EXP you gain, your Levels goes up by 1.

Levels:
ONE level gained by aquiring 1000 EXP. When you gain a level, you get +2 HP, +2 MP, +2 AP.
